There are several kinds of files on these pages. Select the format that works best for you and for what you want to do.
One type of file is MP3 (.mp3), the familiar audio format used by many portable players nowadays. This format can also be used to create an audio CD using freely available software like iTunes or Windows Media Player.
The other type is the MIDI (.mid) format which stores just the notes and how they should be played. This format is played on your computer as if on a digital keyboard. These files are helpful because they are very small. They can even be placed on a cell phone and so you can practice wherever you are.
